The drive cable consists out of - a heart wire (spring steel wire), - several layers of steel wire, - a wire helix (steel), - a flock layer (PA6, intensity: 0,6N+- 0,4), - a cable end cap (either an overmoulded plastic end cap or a hammered steel end cap) On the other end of the drive cable a sled is moulded on that connects the cable with the sunroof mechanism.
