I am a Senior Hardware Engineer for Raymarine UK. We are a leading designer and manufacturer of marine navigation equipment for the leasure market. Part of our product range includes Analogue Instruments which provide the user with wind angle, compass heading and rudder angle information. We are looking for an accurate, compact and low cost pointer driver. The Car Instruments stepper motor looks to be of the type we are interested in. The volumes we are looking at are 12K per annum.
