We want to buy the following steel pipes: -Line pipe should be carbon steel grade X60 in accordance with API 5L PSL2 E latest edition , -Pipe diameter is 18"(457mm) and wall thickness is 0.438"(11.12mm) -Line pipe should be longitudinally welded by submeged arc welding (SAWL) . No spiral or helical welded pipes. -Line pipe should be bevelled for manual welding od the field joints and have metal bevel protectors, -Length of each line pipe to be 12 m . To be delivered within a tolerance of plus or minus 500mm. No jointers. - Lin pipe should be externally coated at least 3mm thick extruded high density polyethylene according to DIN 30670, - Pipeline will be used to carrying natural gas with 1.82% (vol) carbon dioxide and no hyrogen sulphid at 80 kg/sq cm operating pressure. Manufacturing route to be specified by maufacturer. Qty 105,000 metres.
