We are in the last steps in building up of one Drill Ship – Etesco Takatsugu J – in the Samsung Heavy Industries, South Korea.I have gotten "green signal" from my Director to go ahead with this proposal, to get information about convenient equipment, suitable for our engines, quotation, etc.aa).- FYI, our ship is equipped with six (6) unit of Diesel Engine STX-MAN Model 14V32/40 Serial No's SB14V32-10603/608 Power: 7000 kw x 720 rpm each engine. We have three separated engine rooms with two engines in each. Lubricant Oil ......... MHP-154 ....... Qty: 7000 Liters (Each engine)Each engine have a lubrication system with suction filters, oil cooler and lubricant oil purifiers (Alfa Laval).Our thinking is the possibility by adding a filtration system unit (aggregate) for each engine, we can get a better lubricant oil condition during service. We have the idea to install centrifugal filters, one complete set for each engines.BB).- Our seeking is also regarding Lubrication System for our 6 units of Azimuth Thruster System.On behalf of our owners, the idea is to add to the system “independent filtration units” in the lubricant system in our Thrusters, one per thruster unit.
