Please advise what metal alloy is used in a Nikki carburetor with window to see float level. The three "ears" on the body that receive the screws that hold the glass window in place have bent and the window is no longer flush, allowing petrol to leak. To what temperature should the alloy be heated [and how] to bend the "ears" back into place?One ear has broken off. How do I fix it?
