In some of our vehicles, we use wipers with technology “Flat Blade”, developed in Europe. Our main suppliers are VALEO and BOSCH. We have information that other manufacturers in Mercosur use blade of “Sacrifice” during the stage between the exit of the assembly line and the delivery to the customer in the Retailer. The objective is to avoid the degradation of the “original” blade. One manufacturer that is using this strategy is VW in its models VENTO and AMAROK for certain destines of export. We have information that indicate that you are the supplier of this piece to VW. The wiper has an identification of VW AG in the attach (piece that acts as fixation between the arm and the blade). In the blade is identified the code 3C0955169. This snap-fit attach, fit perfectly with the arms origin BOSCH and VALEO of our vehicles. I will thank you if you can answer me these questions: · Was this piece developed especially for VW ?.· What kind of information would you need to develop an adaptation of this pieces for our use ?.· The length of these “sacrifice” blades is unique and standard ?. Are there any other lengths for this piece ?· Normally is it used the same blade for both sides (left and right) ?· How much does each kit containing the 2 (two) blades cost (considering an annual necessity of approx 40,000 vehicles) ? · How long does the developement of an adaptation and/or development of a new product for PSA demands to you?
