I work for a company that produces large (up to 50 ton) Articulated Dump Trucks. Our trucks have two fans that are very loud.Here is a view of one of our cooling fans on the attachments. As you can see the blades are evenly spaced and the blades are straight. This causes a lot of sound to be produced, making our trucks too noisy.(over 113 dB(a) at 1 metre) All the fans I see now being used in the car industry, have irregular spaced blades with curved blades (as shown in the picture on the right hand side). I believe this makes them much quieter.We want to cooperate with any companies that make truck sized fans of about 750 mm diameter.
